Naruto and Burning Shadows

Chapter 1: Ascension
Minato Namikazi looked at the baby boy in his arms with pride and shame.
Pride for what the child has already sacrificed despite only being an hour old and shame for what Minato himself has just done to his poor son. His mother is dead from chakra stress, he has no other relatives, and soon his father would join them.
"You understand what you must do then?" He asked seemingly to no one.
A man in a black and white hooded out fit with a cap hiding his left side appeared from the night shadows, the hood hiding everything but his gruff jaw. "Sì, il mio amico (1). He will be in safe hands until he's ready to return." He told the Yondaime as he took the child from him.
Minato smiled even as the color began to leave his eyes and skin. "Thank you Ezio Auditore de Florenze. I'm sure Naruto will be...a great...Assassin..." And Minoto was no more as he fell to the ground and disappeared in a flurry of purple dust leaving nothing behind but a silver medallion that was in that shape of an ornate 'A'.
As is sensing his fathers death naruto began crying until the man now known as Ezio calmed the poor child. "Bambino silenzio. (2)" he cood softly to the child rocking him until h fell asleep peacefully. Ezio stepped over to Minoto's 'body' was and picked up the medallion. "Riposa in pace, fratello.(3)"
Ezio turned on his heel and returned to the shadows with Naruto. Just before a squad of shinobi came and found what was left of there Yondaime.
(A/N: Extreamly short I know, but there will be more...sooner or later. And they will be longer.)
A/N: Sorry guys this story along with several others will be on a temporary Hiatus until I'm done with some of the ones I'm keeping going. I've simply got to many fics up at once to spend time on them all. Soul Eater: Remastered will stay on and will be renamed Soul Eater: Resonance. A Tortured Demigod: Naruto Amaterasu will stay as well and one new fic will be posted. Not sure if it will be the Deus Ex: Human Revolution/Ghost in the Shell Xover with or the Naruto/ Prince of Persia Xover. I'll have a poll up for which to post first and the other will be posted when SE:R, ATDNA or which ever fic wins the poll is finished.
